OJSK «RODON» was founded in 1971 as an enterprise of the military-industrial complex of the former USSR that produced IC chips. After the disintegration of the USSR OJSK “RODON” underwent restructuring that resulted in a range of subsidiaries with various specializations. Some projects have been developed to diversify the production of OJSK “RODON”. So far the first phase of timber processing, that is production of Euro profile windows, has been accomplished by our Subsidiary of the Design and Engineering Department “ORIZON”.
Nowadays the following units operate:
The lumber mill, where timber is cut with a bandsawing machine WRAVOR and a gang ripsaw KR – 310 made by Weinig.
The drying unit consisting of «Muhlbock» kilns with a wood capacity of up to 240 m3. The kiln is controlled by a PLC system and MB 8000 software.
The laminated timber production area equipped with new machines by Weinig with the output of 220 m3 per month. We can manufacture glued timber out of your material and according to the sizes you require.
The Euro profile IV-78 window and door production area with the capacity of 5000 m2 of window and door frames per month. The profiling of the window timber is done with window processing center Unikontrol 6. For other operations we use the equipment made by leading German companies such as Polzer , Panhans , Hema, etc.
The painting unit equipped with Polzer chambers. The chamber automatically maintains a balance between the humidity and the drying temperature. For coating we use products of Glasurit. We install hardware made by Siegenia and Roto. Euroglass supplies us with glazing units manufactured at the automated line «Peter Lizer Gmbh».
For our windows we use Carpathian fir and spruce, Volyn and Rivno pine, Ternopil, Vinnetsia and Khmelnytsky oak. Every consignment of timber has a quarantine certificate.
The appropriate working conditions and a required operation environment are created with a boiler house, which uses in its work residues of the wood processing company «Mawera», and with an aspiration system produced by ELBH.

Our company has 43000 m2 of the vacant production area, and 6300 m2 of the vacant offices.
We get electricity from the town mains with two cables through a factory-made indoor switchgear – 10 kilovolt. Thus our electricity system can carry a power consumption of 17 MW.
Gas is supplied through a medium pressure pipeline with a diameter of 100 mm.
Our company is 5 kilometers away from the railway station (both passenger and cargo) and 7 kilometers away from the airport.
